Wills for Warriors

The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the "Wills for Warriors" program in conjunction with the Cape May County Surrogate's Office and the New Jersey State Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. This event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Thursday June 4, 2026, at American Legion Post 524 in Ocean City.  The program will allow qualifying veterans to have an attorney prepare a simple will, power of attorney, and/or medical directive free of charge. We encourage members to use the link below to register as a volunteer attorney for this event.

The NJSBA requires that all volunteer attorneys complete a 1 hour CLE prior to volunteering. Information regarding the CLE date(s) and time(s) will be provided to those who register. Document templates and printing equipment will be provided to all volunteers.
